TIPS - Training Interpersonal and Professional Skills
Provides student organizations with information to improve on various skills in order to be more efficient and successful. TIPS will be an informative session on various topics such as professionalism, time management, and parliamentary procedures; that will be presented by individuals within the campus community.
Presidents Caucus
Gives student leaders the opportunity to converse, share ideas, concerns/solutions about their programs etc. with other student organizations. This program, sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA), was designed to build stronger leaders in student organizations supported by the OMA and the Multicultural Resource Center (MRC).
Presidents Caucus will follow TIPS and will give everyone a chance to share event updates, and to discuss what is going on in their organizations.
We will typically meet the last Thursday of each month from 4-5pm at the Multicultural Resource Center(MRC). If you have any questions, please contact Pamela Scott at the Office of Multicultural Affairs 864-4351.
In order to assist students with knowledge about certain topics and/or questions they have about example "Fundraising," guest speakers from different offices throughout campus are invited to come and meet with the students to talk with them about various procedures, ideas, and available resources.
