Programs
- The Student Diversity Conference is an annual conference that is
sponsored in the spring semester. Sessions are presented in a track format
that enables participants to study a particular topic more in depth by attending
2-3 sessions on the same topic. Presenters are recruited from the KU campus
and surrounding institutions.
- Brown Bag Discussion Series

This discussion group meets every other Wednesday at the Multicultural Resource Center classroom from 12:15 - 1:00 p.m. to discuss multicultural issues.

- stEp - Students Together Excelling in Education as Peers
The stEp program is designed to assist and motivate minority students in adjusting and succeeding at KU. stEp participants meet weekly with stEp counselors to answer any questions they may have about KU and Lawrence in general. In addition, the stEp counselor serves as the students' tutor, and is able to help them in their entry-level classes. The stEp program also includes study workshops, social events, as well as a weeklong "study zone" during finals.
- DPET - Diversity Peer Education Team

The DPET program is intended to help promote awareness about the many diversities that exist in both the college campus & Lawrence community. The team is made up of student volunteers that host discussions & activities that develop a better understanding & appreciation of our differences & similarities.
- TIPS/Presidents Caucus - Training Interpersonal and Professional Skills
TIPS provides student organizations with tips on how to be more efficient. From budgeting to writing grants, this program provides student organizations with the tools they need to be successful. The Presidents Caucus side will enable students to share and discuss program ideas, events and concens. Please call for current meeting dates.
- Colors of KU - Diversity Retreat
Colors of KU is a three-day diversity retreat designed to build leadership, organizational, and other skills, with a large focus on diversity and multiculturalism. This program encourages students to foster respect, appreciation and understanding in their experience at the university as well as in the students' leadership positions.

- Diversity Dialogue Series
This program educates the campus community on issues related to diversity and multiculturalism on a predominately white campus. This educational program occurs on the first Thursday of every month in the Kansas Union, Kansas Room at 7:00 PM. The program creates critical dialogue among the campus community on various issues.
- The
Multicultural Student Success Conference (Fall) and the Corporate
Career Fair (Spring) are two events that give KU students of
color, new and returning the opportunity to meet with faculty,
staff, student organizations; and various departments that provide
support through services, resources and programs. The other dimension
of these events is the corporate aspect. Representatives from several
companies are invited to present information about the importance
of involvement, leadership, internships and possible career opportunities
