As a Program Assistant for the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Aida assists with the every day operations of the HAWK Link Program, serves as an adjunct advisor with the University Advising Center and coordinates Transitions, the sophomore component of the HAWK Link.

Aida is currently working on her Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis on English as a Second Language and Multicultural Education. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Kansas in 2001.

While at KU, Aida was a founder of the Delta Alpha Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority and was active in other student organizations such as the Hispanic American Leadership Organization (HALO) and the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), as well as with University offices such as Admissions and Multicultural Affairs.
