Chastity Richmond

Graduate Assistant

Chastity L. Richmond serves as the graduate assistant for the Multicultural Resource Center at the University of Kansas.  In this position, Chastity oversees the Resource Library at the Multicultural Resource Center, which includes preparing materials that are donated to the library for student use and assists with a PRE 101 course as a discussion leader.

Currently, Chastity is pursing a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration at KU.   She earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and English with a minor in African American Studies from Iowa State University in 2002

 Previously, Chastity worked in the Residential Life office as a Student Development Coordinator at Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas.  Chastity oversaw the day-to-day operations of the women's residence hall.  She also was a member of the Southwest Association of College Housing Officers International and was a member of their Diversity committee.

As an undergraduate, Chastity worked as a resident assistant and residence hall tour guide for the Department of Residence at Iowa State University for three years.  As a resident assistant, Chastity worked very closely with the Lead (Leadership through Engineering Academic Diversity) and Wise (Women in Science and Engineering) Learning communities.

In her spare time, Chastity enjoys watching movies, going to KU football games and loves cooking.
