Adrienne Collins Runnebaum serves as the Assistant Director of Hawk Link for the Office of Multicultural Affairs. Hawk Link is a nationally recognized academic based retention program designed to assist first year students in navigating their first year by utilizing existing programs at The University of Kansas. She works closely with the students of the program in collaboration with KU staff, faculty, and departments to provide successful resources for the participants.
Adrienne received her MBA in 2006 from Emporia State University. She also received her B.S. in Business Management from ESU. While working on her master’s program, Adrienne served as the graduate assistant for the Multicultural Programs and Services Office. During this time, she worked in many different areas such as multicultural programming, diversity training, and assisting with a student mentoring program initiative. Adrienne also worked directly with four student organizations within her office which included Black Student Union, Black Women’s Network, the Hispanic American Leadership Organization, and People Respecting Individuality and Diversity in Education.
In her spare time, Adrienne enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, and watching KU basketball with her husband Wes.
