Sabine Jones Administrative Assistant

Sabine has been a Lawrencian for fifteen years.  Her first five years at the University of Kansas, before coming to the MRC, were spent as part of Public Administration Department staff in the position of Stene Secretary. She served both as the personal assistant to the Distinguished Stene Professor and as an Administrative Associate for the department. 

Sabine is a dedicated mother to her daughter Amanda, who is a senior in the Music Education department at KU. She enjoys travel, community affairs, the arts, literature, and writing poetry. She is also caretaker for her husband Michael, who is disabled with Multiple Sclerosis and Tucker, the family Springer Spaniel.
