Trevor Loney serves as the Assistant Director of Hawk Link for the Office of Multicultural Affairs. Hawk Link is a nationally recognized academic based retention program designed to assist first year students in navigating their first year by utilizing existing programs at The University of Kansas. He works closely with the students of the program in collaboration with KU staff, faculty, and departments to provide successful resources for the participants.

Trevor received his MA in American studies from KU in 2004. He also received his BA in American studies and Political Science from KU as well. Trevor has held several positions in Student Success over the last six years including the University Advising Center, New Student Orientation and Department of Student Housing. Trevor has worked with students one-on-one in advising, advised various student groups around campus and presented to students and parents during New Student Orientation. Additionally, Trevor has taught several classes at KU, most of which aim to aid students in their transition to KU.

Outside of work, Trevor enjoys everything Lawrence has to offer, is an avid reader and a big Jayhawk sports fan.
