Hispanic-American Leadership Organization Mission Statement:
HALO strives to meet the many academic, social, and cultural needs of the Hispanic/Latino Students at the University of Kansas.
About HALO
The goals and objectives shall include, but not be limited to the following: represent our Hispanic community by participating in university and civic events; function as a support system for Hispanic students who attend the university; foster and perpetuate the traditions and customs of the Hispanic people and use our resources to accomplish the goals of our organization.

Membership
All University of Kansas students are welcomed and encouraged to become a member of the HALO family. Undergraduate students, as well as graduate students, make up the general assembly.
